Commentsjanus phenotype: partially reversed oral apparatus on the dorsal surface; two contractile-vacuole pore sets. Allelic (non-complementing) to janC-1, located on chromosome 1R. Can be recognized when alive as "flat" cells. Not temperature-sensitive. There is no evidence for any effect of eja1-1 on expression of janC.
